Debate

Over at one of my fave blogs, MLAK, she is testifying to the joy that is womanhood. And one of those joys is shaving.

I have a dilemma.

Here in Chicagoland, it gets bitter cold. Like so cold, even I get cold, and that is saying a lot.

Now, I regularly(ish) shave my legs and pits, because I'm no cave woman, or hot European, but I also shave my arms. I have for probably 10 years. But I'm wondering if I should let them grow back out to warm me for the winter.

What do you think? What do you do? Do you shave your arms at all? Should I continue? Do I want to grow them out for the warmth or is it just because I'm too lazy?

Discuss.

Well. You know I have shave my arms. And my toes for that matter. Only because you told me I needed too. And I still shave them cause Im wearing short sleeves. But when it gets cold and I start wearing long sleeves, I will definately take a break.

I shaved my arms for a brief 2 week period in college and then got really annoyed by the stubble under long sleeves so that was the end of that.

Plus, like I need another thing to shave...

Nair is the answer. But I don't think a little hair is going to warm you up!

Why do people shave their arm hair? I do not understand this phenomenon.

Ken says to go for the hot European look (you don't even have to brush your teeth, if you're in England).

Being that I have this delightful little disease called PCOS (Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) I get to shave all sorts of things! Thanks PCOS!

I'm no weather expert, but it kind of seems like Chicago land takes more than some arm hair to stay warm. But if you are going to be in long sleeves, why not grow it out? And your legs and pits, for that matter:)
Keli the Cavewoman. I can see it now. haha!

This is the first time I have ever heard of shaving arm hair. Interesting. I don't think I'll start that now. I sometimes take a break from shaving leg hair in the winter but it usually comes back to bite me in the butt! I forget for church or the gym or something. Ooops!
